Craftsmanship has been part of the Palecek<\/a> DNA for decades, ever since founder Allan H. Palecek first imported decorative accessories from Asia to San Francisco in 1974. Since then, the company has grown significantly under second-generation leadership, with Andrew T. Palecek serving as chief creative officer, continuing the mission to create handmade furnishings and lighting inspired by the intrinsic beauty of natural materials. \u201cWe\u2019ve come a long way,\u201d Andrew says. \u201cBut we are just scratching the surface when it comes to using rattan, abaca and wood. There are so many ideas in my mind\u2014and nature makes them possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

While the elements of the natural world continue to inspire, Palecek has been busy expanding their footprints in High Point and Las Vegas. What\u2019s more, just as their woven light fixtures are skyrocketing in popularity, the brand is now featured within multiline showrooms in select markets, including New Jersey, Miami and San Francisco. \u201cMore can be seen in person,\u201d Andrew notes. \u201cAnd that allows design lovers to make creative connections and to dream.\u201d<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\n
